NBA Fans, You Still Have Time To Apply For Your NHL Fandom

Down Goes Brown has come up with an application for disgruntled NBA fans, so that they can become new NHL fans. I never filled out this application, I bribed a few people to get my fan card, but you can go to the site to fill it out.

This choice taken from the application pretty much sums up how I ended up writing about hockey.

Have played the EA Sports NHL video games since I was a child, and was recently surprised to learn that they were based on an actual sports league.

The only other question I had trouble figuring out was "How long are you willing to commit to being an NHL fan?" The choices given were very good ones, but I don't know if I can answer this question. I can talk about following hockey all I want, but the true test will come the moment I see Lebron James strap up his shoes and turn the ball over officially for the first time (AKA Most likely the first second of the NBA season).
