Return Of A Boy Named Sidney...No Really A Boy

DC Sports Nexus ---- Wednesday, November 30, 2011

Sidney Crosby has played only 5 games this season. In that time he has racked up 11 points on 2 goals and 9 assists. Alex Ovechkin has played 23 games. In that time he has racked up only 18 points on 8 goals and 10 assists. Just typing facts to get everyone riled up for the game...

On Thursday night the hated Penguins will come to Washington DC, a place where several Penguins fans live. Thes people have never even been within 50 miles of Pittsburgh in their lives. The Guins are the top team in the league with 32 points, but all that usually goes out the window when these two teams meet.

The Penguins have slightly struggled winning only 5 of their last 10, but the Caps have struggled more with only 3 wins in the same number of games. New coach Dale Hunter will face the Penguins for the first time but it shouldn't take him long to learn about the rivalry that exists here.

The last time these 2 teams met the Caps outlasted the Guins in OT, and Jay Beagle was knocked out (and is still out). Should be interesting to see if anything happens with Asham, such as a Hendrix punch to the face...

Wow this is really a terrible video...
