John Erskine Crushes Phil Kessel

John Erskine, the Washington Capitals defender, didn't take much time in Thursday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs to make an impact.  In the opening minutes of the game, Erskine smashed Phil Kessel of the Leafs cleanly with no penalty.  It was a jarring hit that left the crowd saying "oooh".  Take a look:
