So Yesterday

Yeah, the Caps lost a nail biting, heart breaker of a first series game last night. But let that not fool you, the Caps are still in this. They played hard and actually acted like they wanted to win. A far cry from last years series against the Lighting.

People complaining about Holtby, quiet yourselves. Holtby was PHENOMENAL. He has never played in the NHL Playoffs and, quite frankly, wasn't really prepared for that kind of intensity. But he pulled it off and if it wasn't for him, the Caps could've easily ended up in a 5 goal hole before the end of the game.

Yes, the Caps need to out more shots on goal and press the attack in the Bruins zone more often, but the intensity and heart they were missing last year are here. They were also surprisingly sound most of the game in the D-zone, even if a few of you were torqued off Sarge was in instead of Dima.

As far as predictions for tomorrow; how the crock pot am I supposed to know? I don't have a Crystal Ball. But, I expect to see the same intensity with more fire power going into the first. The Caps will really try to get it going scoring wise and then hunker down as the game progresses, most likely. As far as players in and out, Hunter likes to keep hot players in. So, Beagle still in, Sarge probably out and Holtbeast in net.

And a song to help boost your morale's and get ready for some Bru's tushy kicking! (I liked this one when I was 8 too!)
