Caps Nicklas Backstrom Garden Gnome Shipped From Pittsburgh

In possibly the dumbest and most useless post of all time on this site, we were made aware of a very interesting fact about those Nicklas Backstrom Garden Gnomes that were given out last night.  They were made in China, but came on a truck from...PITTSBURGH!!!

Another DC Garden Gnome: Caps Nicklas Backstrom

Last summer the Washington Nationals minor league affiliate the Hagerstown Suns had an interesting giveaway idea.  Instead of doing a typical bobblehead to commemorate the games Bryce Harper played for them, they decided to turn the rookie into a garden gnome.  (Look how much that looks like Bryce...lol)

Well, the Washington Capitals have decided to go the gnome route, giving away a Capital One Nicklas Backstrom garden gnome on Tuesday February 5th against the  Toronto Maple Leafs.
